SCUBA Diving For Beginners in Corfu

This tour includes:

• Transportation in air-conditioned car with a driver to Paleokastritsa and return
• Use of scuba equipment and instruction

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be able to breathe underwater and explore the deeper parts of the sea?

An introduction to the fantastic sport of scuba (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) diving on a course that includes an open water dive and may count towards a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver qualification.

The diving school is located in Paleokastritsa, on the West Coast of Corfu, which has some of the best dive sites in Greece. Upon arrival you will be introduced to your PADI instructor and given all necessary diving equipment and shown how to operate it. You will be given a thorough introduction to scuba diving before you enter the water, afterwhich you will be ready to start your dive.

The course duration is two hours, from of which 40 minutes will be spent underwater scuba diving. You will experience wearing scuba equipment and see how easy it is to move around in the water while wearing it, find out what it’s like to breathe underwater and find out if you will be comfortable and most importantly learn the safety rules and some basic diving skills that will carry over to your full scuba certification course when you take the next step.
