Airport of Ioannis Capodistrias

Corfu has an excellent air connection with most European cities especially in the holiday seasons. There are dozens of charter flights daily. It has been said that in August there is one plane landing every three minutes. Furthermore, 4 to 6 flights daily connect the island with Athens and throughout the week there are a few flights connecting the island  with Thessalonica.

Corfu Town New Port

The recently enlarged port of Corfu handles with care thousands of transporting passengers. The main international destinations are Italian ports of Venice, Ancona, Trieste, Bari and Brindisi. The port connects also Igoumenitsa, Paxos and Antipaxos Islands, Patras as well as regular lines between all the Ionian Islands. This varies substantially based on time of the year.

Lefkimmi Port

The Lefkimmi port is situated south of the Island near the tourist resort Kavos. By geographical position Lefkimmi port is closer to Igoumenitsa (mainland Greece) than the port of Corfu. The trip takes less time and therefore it is also cheaper, especially for those traveling by their own car. The Lefkimmi port mainly serves connection to ‘Igoumenitsa’ and to the Islands of Paxos & Antipaxos. The routes operate daily throughout the year.

Gouvia Marina

Gouvia marina is a yacht centre that is also the home of the sea-plane company called AirSeaLines the first of it's kind in Greece. From there you reach easy, safe and fast destinations such as Brindisi Italy, Paxos, Ioannina, Patras, Ithaki and Lefkas.

Here we include links to the most popular and safest shipping companies that operate between Italy and Greece. The entire fleets of ships are luxurious, modern and some of them also brand new. That makes them the safest to travel with. To find timetables, all routes and prices please visit the following sites:
